BETA
READERS
Below
are the details of all the lovely people who are willing to beta
read any Devon fic you might be wanting to write. As a couple
of basic rules: please ask before sending fic to ensure that they
are at that moment able to beta read for you, and please only
use these contacts for Devon related fic. In a bid to discourage
spammers I've put a space in the e-mail addresses which you should
of course take out to contact them.
Name:
Dolores
Contact: dolores_l @hotmail.com
Response time: Usually no more than a few days, depending
on my schedule and the length of the fic.
Notes: Beta reading in several fandoms for about four years
now. I'm better at slash and characters in the earlier seasons
of Buffy. I haven't seen much of Angel season 4
or any of season 5.
Name:
Kate Bolin
Contact: dymphna @dymphna.net
Response time: Ask first, 'cause otherwise it'll never
happen
Notes: Good with Devon/Oz and other mellow things. But I tend
to be a bit vicious if I ain't careful.
Name:
Eccentrici
Contact: eccentrici @aol.com
Response time: Right now, I have plenty of time to spare.
Just check with me first to make sure that I am in the country.
Notes: I have been a beta reader in a multitude of fandoms
(Dark Shadows, Red Dwarf, Lexx, etc.) since 1985. I am
very comfortable with slash (particularly Oz/Devon), but I will
read het or gen, and any pairings are fine with me.
Name:
Antheia
Contact: antheia77 @hotmail.com
Response time: I'll generally respond to their initital email
within 24 hours. Ficlets and drabbles are 24 hours or so. Longer
fics will depend on a few factors.
Notes: Am also reachable on aim (antheia77). My time zone
is eastern standard. Email is definitely best.
Name:
Megs
Contact: megs @intergalactic.nu
Response time: About a week, depending on my schedule.
Notes: No Willow bashing and no wolf-sex.
Name:
Parmalat
Contact: gadgetface @yahoo.com
Response time: Within a week, unless something unusual is
happening. Ask me.
Notes: I have more enthusiasm than experience, but I can
definitely untangle your grammar knots and give you informed character
advice and generally help out. Slash is better, but I'll read
anything (especially if it involves Cordelia).
